On 12th January we came with our new motto. Organ donation is the donation of biological tissue or an organ of the human body, from a living or dead person to a living recipient in need of a transplantation. Transplant-able organs and tissues are removed in a surgical procedure following a determination, based on the donor’s medical and social history, of which are suitable for transplantation
We organised a even to register for organ donation at Swarnandhra college of engineering. Along with this we also did some activities as a part of women empowerment and to stop violence against women.
Violence against women is one of the most widespread human rights abuses. Every day, thousands of women and girls are abused and murdered by their families, raped in armed conflicts and attacked for defending women’s rights.
Around 80+ people registered for organ donation. We felt happy to share some good messages in this event.
